[Workshop] Basics of Seudati Dance from Aceh (Cit Ka Geunta, Indonesia)

The seudati dance originated from the province of Aceh, Indonesia. Seudati comes from the word ‘shahadat’. This dance is also known as a tribal/war dance. The words (or poetry and lyrics) used in the dance ignites a sense of patriotism and inspires the youths of Aceh to rise up and fight against occupation.
